Flight Alerts Service is constituted and operates by the Terms, Conditions, and Exclusions set forth below. The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Tripsta S.A., one of the largest online travel agencies in Europe that manages an extensive portfolio of travel-focused websites operating under the brand name “airtickets®”. The term "you" and "your" refers to the user of the Flight Alerts Service. By purchasing Flight Alerts Service, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

Flight Alerts Service is a third-party service provided by FlightStats, part of FlightGlobal. Flightstats is a data services company and a leading provider of real-time global flight data to companies and individuals across the travel ecosystem. By purchasing Flight Alerts Service, you will receive up-to-date information about the status of your booking, flight delays, flight cancellations, and changes on departure terminal. In particular, Flight Alerts Service includes the following services:

  • E-ticket is also sent via SMS
  • Reminder with a status update 5 hours prior to departure
  • Notification if the flight is delayed
  • Notification if the flight is cancelled
  • Notification in case there is a change of your departure gate

During the purchase procedure of Flight Alerts Service, you will have to provide us with a mobile number to which all the relevant notifications regarding your flight will be sent. By concluding the purchase of the Flight Alerts Service, you guarantee that the mobile number you provided us with is a real number, operated by you and not a third person. You must inform us for any changes to this number.

Only one charge will be applied at the time of the booking, regardless of the number of notifications you will receive. All the relevant information and notifications provided to you via the Flight Alerts Service, are derived only from the airport terminals. Flight Alerts Service is activated by the time your flight is announced to the airport Terminal, and it ends as soon as your flight ends. In case your flight is delayed for more than 30 minutes, we advise you to contact directly the airline company. Tripsta S.A. bears no responsibility whatsoever for the accuracy of the notifications. Any costs that may arise from wrong notifications cannot be covered by Tripsta S.A.

Your telecommunication company is solely responsible for the deliverance of the SMS to your phone. Tripsta S.A. bears no responsibility for any kind of delays regarding the deliverance of the SMS to your phone. Indicatively, but not restrictively, such delays might be the weak signal of your mobile phone, the excessive workload to your mobile network, malfunctions of your mobile phone, etc.

By purchasing Flight Alerts Service, you agree that in no event Tripsta S.A. shall be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of, or in any way connected with, your access to, display of or use of the services relating to Flight Alerts Service.

You are entitled to cancel your purchased product, within 14 days from the date of purchase, provided that your check-in date must be at least 14 days away. In case of cancellation the refund process usually takes up to 15 working days following the cancellation date. Due to bank procedures, though, any corresponding amount may take 7-10 extra days before appearing on your bank statement. To cancel the Flight Alerts Service, please contact us.
